About CBDC

Canine Behavior Development Coalition was formed in 2017. Lead trainer Erika Smith formed the organization to make private custom dog training accessible to all individuals from college students owning their first dog to retired couples getting a new puppy. Erika began dog training at the age of 16 working with Guide Dogs For the Blind as a puppy raiser. In 2014 she completed an Animal Behavior Internship at Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, Utah. In college she worked in the Human Animal interaction lab, studied animal behavior, and worked at a local shelter socializing new dog intakes. In 2015 she graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Animal Science.
Canine Behavior Development Coalition strives on helping dogs develop good behavior skills. We offer puppy obedience, adult dog obedience, behavior modification (aggression, reactivity, fear), therapy dog training, service dog training and board and train program.
We also have opportunities for you to have fun and compete with your dog. We offer competition rally and obedience classes, rally and obedience club, and open class time for you to come practice with your pooch.
Please check out the training services listed to see what you would like to sign your dog up for. You can also check out our facebook page and instagram page to see our dogs in training! We look forward to hearing from you!
